Movie - Be Kind Rewind

It's pretty funny and not exactly what I expected. The movie scenes were really funny though (if you watch movies, some just work if you haven't seen it). Meh, I'll give it a 6.5/10.

This is one of those movies where you might want to *you know* before hand... like it's made for it. It's only serious till the end when your pretty much coming out of it.

I'd give it an 8 but you pretty summed up most of it for me! I hate the fact you have to see all the movies they take the mick out of to fully enjoy it

I love Michel Gondry but have yet to see this one. I thought it was kind of ridiculous how it had a somewhat limited release the first week it came out and then disappeared completely by week two. SO frustrating when you see it on the bill the day it comes out and you head to the theater exactly a week later and they tell you that they stopped showing it yesterday. Was it planned to only be in theaters a week and then be almost like a strait to DVD film?

Jack Black and Mos Def looks like a really interesting combination (I really enjoy anything that either of them does and then you add in Michel Gondry whose films are always incredibly creative). All that being said, I really hope I find it to be better than a 6 or a 7 :smirk:.
