I see some great action/adventure games for PS3 like Drake's Fortune, are there any similar games on the 360? seems like there are some great games coming to PS3.. .my 360 is collecting dust lately. I still haven't played Gears of War though.

Well first of all play GOW then consider playing Assasins Creed, if you like Drakes Fortune then I guess you will like Tomb Raider games on X360, Devil May Cry 4 is also a great action/adventure game.
But do yourself a favor and play Gears its a great game.

Im a born again console addict, much thanks to members of this forum recommending games.
Here's a selection of games that really really had me going:
Gears of War. Simply the best fps single player campaign ever. Loved it.
Call of Duty 4. Short (the campaign) but intense. Awesome graphics.
The Darkness. Gameplay lacks a bit but the performances of the actors is out of this world.
Guitar hero 3. Nuf said. I love rock music too :P
Oblivion. Not sure if RPGs float your boat but this amused me for a loooong time.
Mass Effect. Same thing here.
And, finally. IF (and I'm not saying you should!) you are into drugs: Beautiful Katamari is a good game to play under the influence of psychedelics :P

Totally agree, GoW is one of the best games I have ever played. The last Tomb Raider (Legends I believe) was pretty good, albiet a little bit of a rehash. Speaking of, they also released the original TR with updated graphics for the 360 also, that's called Anniversary and is supposed to be pretty nice.
Dead Rising is outstanding, Assassins Creed can be a pretty polarizing title, but most reviewers agreed that it is deifnately above average and worth playing. (I loved it)
Crackdown was a lot of fun (and is pretty cheap now).
Conan is a bit flawed but a gory good time, Spiderman 3 is pretty sweet if you haven't played every previous version to death. (bit clunky at times, but fun)
Saints Row is pretty cool, very similar to GTA, but with a much better shooting system.
If you want to include first person shooters in there:
Rainbow Six Vegas, Halo 3, Bioshock, The Orange Box and Call of Duty 4 are all excellent.

Bioshock is the best game I've played in years! I found it almost as good as Gears of War :P
