linking two hard drives (pc and mac)

lol this may be obviously impossible but might ask

at work some clever person bought a MAC buts its sat around doing nothing.

I was wondering could I rigg up the MAC to a PC and transfer files?

I do video editting, so it would be good. Also having experience with Adobe Premier, FinalCut Pro seems a lot better.

Of course you can, just enable file sharing on your Mac.
