You mean forwarding a port?
Your may have to if people can't see it from outside your network.
An no you shouldn't have to mess with what your picture shows.

I find it kind of funny you can't get this to work... I mean what I did it I just forwarded the port and it worked.
Maybe your forwarding the wrong port/to the wrong address.

lol me too. but im pretty sure im doing it right
i have the quest dsl modem dmzing the router and the router dmzing the server, and im sure i turned off all the firewalls.
a wierd thing with the connection tho, i cant connect the modem directly into a computer and im also using a xbox ethernet cable, but im not sure either of these things would affect the server

Er, routers aren't my thing...but I have always gone by the rule...don't mess with the DMZ settings... I don't even know what that means, but whenever they get touched my router goes haywire. And even when I was hosting my own web server at home I didn't need to modify them either so that can't be your problem (I was using the XMM (or something similar) package that had Apache and other stuff).

DMZ is the same as port forwarding everything from 1 to ∞ … it is just an insecure way to port-forward port 80 (in addition to everything else). Don’t use it, except to debug.
The DNS servers allow your computer to translate a name, like ‘google.com’, to an IP address, like ‘64.233.167.99’ (Google English’s IP). It does not affect your server setup, but can affect your general browsing experience. I recommend switching these to ‘208.67.222.222’ and ‘208.67.220.220’ (OpenDNS (http://opendns.com)).

It may just be that your ISP blocks the web server ports.... Heh, when I was doing it I had to switch around the ports to bypass my ISP's blocks. Even then, it's still against their terms and conditions...so that's one of the reasons why I ended up buying hosting.
