file size not taken into consideration

kirupa doesn't take file size into consideration when deciding the SOTW. There are so many cool fx that can be added but they take too much file size. True, the sites are excellent in design but take a long time to load.(i'm using a 56kbps)

That is true kartik, but majority of these sites are directed towards designers or users with higher speed connections. Many sites do have HTML versions also though ;)
