Animated gifs

Hi All,

I was wondering if anyone knew if Flex/AS3 supported animated gifs?! I'm working on an application that uses a progress bar and was looking at tidying up the design with an animated gif?

If this will work does anyone know where I could look at an example of this?

Nope, maybe if anyone wrote a decoder that can handle it... but why not use an animation from a swf file?
