movie appears red on runtime ??

Hi,

I've taken a panorama shot and set it for continuous scrolling in flash. As far as I can tell that works fine - the problem is that the movie displays my 'image' as a block of red and I have no idea why. It's in jpg format so I didn't think flash would have a problem reading it... but in the bitmap bit it just shows red and that's all the movie displays. Does anybody know what the problem could be?

this happens to me too! i noticed that it is happening with the same exact script from the tutorials section on image panning...

It could be this if it's a large image:

Or it could be a security issue if you're attempting to import a jpeg from a different domain. Try placing a cross-domain policy file onto your server:
http://www.adobe.com/devnet/flashplayer/security.html
