Hi,,

I have few questions about modifying default publish settings in Flash:

1) Is it possible somehow turn off all publishing options leaving just Flash and HTML option (I know I can uncheck other options, but I'd like to completely hide them)

2) Is it possible to pre-define publish settings for Flash and HTML so that whenever user creates new file it will publish with these settings? (I know that this can be done if the new file is created using the template, but I'd like to make it default also for non-template files)

I would really appreciate if anyone could help me with this.
thank you very much in advance

1) I think that it's somewhat unlikely that this is possible, but I wouldn't know where to start attempting to make that change. Is there some particular reason that you would need to hide these options?

2) Your thread title is pretty accurate, actually. In the 'Publish Settings' dialog, there is an 'Export profile' button that allows you to save publish settings. Just save the settings you want as default.xml and the settings will become the default settings for blank documents.

The reason why I would like to do this is that we have several junior flash artists in studio that are more artists than tech people and there are also some specific publishing requirements that we have. They always hit some unwanted checkbox or something that mess all things up.

what I really want to achieve is to be able to publish all files to certain settings and be able to pre-define the file names and locations.

Perhaps this could be done via some JSFL stuff so I could then totally omit publish settings dialog.
