3D Face Extrusion Help.....

Does anyone know how to do this: http://actionscript.org/tutorials/advanced/3D-Face-Extrusion/index.shtml
BUT instead of using shapes to extrude i would like to use a font charcter for example the number "0". Is this possible? If so how??? Thanks.....

www.bit-101.com has a component that does this (pretty much).

you'd have to draw it out. Look in Kirupa.com's experiments and you'll see a similar example of an E. Its just like the megatron shape, but drawn to be an E. Similarly, if you want an 0, youd need to draw it out as an 0.
