Hey all
We just launched the campaign site for our new Passion Hearing Aid. We'd love some general feedback on the result :)

well... im not sure what im supposed to be critiquing. When i clicked enter, a full screen popup came up that said "Widex high definition hearing" in the top right. It took forever to load, then after the progress bar finished another progress bar opened! it say "loading content" now. After waiting a couple minutes and coming back it was stuck at 4/6. Its still stuck at 4/6 while im typing this. Doesn't look like it's going to move...
When i minimized the popup, i noticed that another pinkish red site had loaded in the original window underneath it? Is that the site? I'm kinda confused now, it looks like there's two :P
I think the red site looks pretty good, I dont really like the sound effects and the top bar though. The sound effects sound kind of low quality, and the gradient on the top bar looks a little dull. Maybe narrow down the gradient a little to make it look more sharp? Or change it all together?
Overall, the red site looked pretty good. The one in the pop up (that is still stuck at 4/6) looked really nice... the video looked professional and it had a very clean feel... I want to see what comes after the load bar! :P

the language page should launch the main site in a new window yes... You're saying the site loaded in the language window instead??

yes, a popup window came up and the site started to load. then the progress bar got stuck at 4/6 items loaded.
after waiting for a while, i minimized that and found that the site had loaded in the language window.... the popup window never finished loading.

But you get the main site still? With the menu and everything? Can you view all the videos etc?

yup after i closed the popup, the main site was there. I clicked through a few of the sections and everything seemed to be working fine.
Edit: i just tried clicking the link again, but this time i moved the popup over so i could see what was going on underneath. The page loaded in both the popup and the language window. Both copies were fully functional.

^ Just traced it to our JS. The launch procedures aren't built for FF. We'll take care of it asap.
Now then, we need some C&C's on the site :beam:

Gooosh- use css and sprites for that splash page :) It loads a bit weird up to the left, and shifts down after calculating the width.
I think I needs an option to kill the sfx during preload.
:( after seeing another preloader after that I left :( the golfer guy looked hot, but I just didn't have the patience to see the rest.

Is it just plain loading too slow for you guys? Or...?
I tried it at home, and everything came up fairly fast.
*edit*
Can I ask everyone to report your respective load times?
