How can i create a simple background for my falsh site. I want it to be deep dark blue to light blue...progressively fading...like a night sky at the break of dawn.

I'd like to be able to do it in flash mx, but i also have photoshop 7.

Thanks :)

Well in ps7 you would use the gradient tool, select it then at the top you'll see the gradient editor. Click on that gradient bar and it will let you select the colors for your gradient. After you picked your colors, go back to the main stage and just click and drag using the gradient tool.

In flash you would first make a solid color box for your background, select the box by click on it then opening your color mixer. There's a drop down menu where you can choose the type of gradient you want, either linear or radial. Select one of those and a color slider will appear where you can pick the colors for your gradient.
