Bottom Aligned Footer

I have been working on this for a few hours, and I'm not sure what the problem is...

Whatever I'm doing in my code seems to overlap the footer when I shrink my window.

Is this even possible???

I used the following example as my base for coding:

I got it to stop overlapping, but now to get it to align at the bottom regardless of the content size?
