SpaceShip Flash Game - Tell me what you think

I uploaded the swf file. Please play it and tell me whats good and whats bad, im doing this for a scholorship so any feedback would be cool. This is version two, some things i changed since the last time was the background is now less distracting and the spaceship color changed to stand out more, and now you can chose a difficulty level. The preloader i made is kinda messed up i dont know if it just loads to fast on my computer so i cant see it, tell me if it works ok for you guys. Thanks for checking it out

One huge flaw in your game is that your characters up and down movement is not proportional to the speed. If you understand that you can understand why the game is sometimes impossible to play.

Nice work pretty simple remake/graphics work okay, would of been nicer to see some smoother cave walls instead of the rectangle edged ones.
