Mecha Snake

This is my newest edition to my mech pieces, I will be using this model as my first 3D animation project. I hope you guys like it. =)

I use the Autumn style, so I'm cruzin with the fall creek and kingfisher theme...

I'm working on Winter right now, so I may have to change soon...

I made abzoid a matching footer to go with Summer2... the outrigger in the Ali Wai Canal...

don't worry tho... the mutated curtain climbers will return...

pina colada cheesecake

(I was a pastry chef... classically trained in French, but my specialty is pastries)

graham cracker and coconut crust
cheese cake w/coconut milk (very creamy)
candied fresh pineapple
more cheese cake
malibu rum cream

served with fresh pineapple compote, and a pineapple leaf

I had to make 17 in 3 days(we only had 6 pans)... in 85 degree weather and 85% humidity...

but yes, I do know how to make cheesecake...

pastry chefs rock! but i guess it would be hard to stay in shape with all those delicious pastries around.... that's why i'm kinda glad that i can't make all of my favourites (only some of them =D )

and EG, that snake is so cool, it could make a really cool animation...is it gonna be like a story or just something that looks flashy and amazing? either way it will be awesome

how did you do that?? because I can see in a snake how you can repeat an object (for the links of the snake) and then did you just resize them acordingly and link them via bones or something??

Pewter, you're correct about creating an object and repeating it. That's exactly what I did since this is a low poly model. Without the textures it would look really plain.

I need to learn 3d more because i really struggle modelling things :).

Each section started out as a platonic sphere and I made them editable and use the polygon tool to mold each sphere.

Now I'm in the process of applying IK to it so that I can animate it.
