View Full Version : when did it become socially acceptable...

for plump women to show me the crack of their arse?

Or, better yet, for these same women to show me the rolls of flab in their bare midrif?

Most of these women would look hot as heck if they just bought their clothes one size larger... ;)

We had bad Spandex women in the 70's... we had the Jordache women ripping their seams out in the 80's...

But this is almost offensive.

I was at a club the other nite, not a hotspot by any means, where there was a bar next door. By a bar, I mean no live music, no dance floor. Just a bar with stools, maybe a few tables, but I digress...

During a band break, I was outside readjusting my attitude, when I noticed the girl in front of me, I won't go into details, but lets say the hookers outside my front door looked a lot more inviting than she (the only hookers in my neighborhood are transvestites)... and she was cute!

My point?

When did it become socially acceptable for plump little girls to hang a beer belly out of a pair of jeans in public?

i think that they think that they look "good" when really they are making them selves look like complete morons.

i think this is gross. they shouldn't flaunt it like that at all.

I call them Michelin women........ I suppose somebody told em they look good?

I can't believe these girls don't look in the mirror...

They would look hot, if they just put on a pair of Levi's 501 jeans... same top... everything else the same...

then, their underware creeps up, ends up sticking out like a deflated baloon stuck in the corner of the couch...

i think this is gross. they shouldn't flaunt it like that at all.

it could also be caused by low self esteem. either that, or they are dying for attention

Blame Dr. Phil and Oprah for giving them the self-confidence to show you where they sweat the most.

like I said, we had the really bad spandex women in the 70's... I mean you could see the cottage cheese in the fridge, through the door...

Ahh I'm forced to see this ALL the time. I can't stand it. I don't have anything against "plump"er women, but I find it revolting when they have the little fat rolls squeezes out everywhere. I'm not really a shallow guy at all, so like you said Rev, if they just put on some clothes that fit.. then they would look fine. The best they they could do is buy themselves some baggy pants a hoodie.

Ya i see a ton of girls tat would look really good if they put on some better fitting clothes. There are some hot chicks out there that aren't 80lbs and look like a bag of bones but they mess it up buy putting on clothes taht are way to small.

Skin should be showing not POPING out. If you are poping out then get a larger size.

reverendflash
July 16th, 2003, 03:40 AM
then why are these women still doing this?

it can't be comfortable... it doesn't look good...

Who is telling them it looks good? If it's Oprah, she's crossed the line...

Well there are actresses that are telling girls it is ok to be fat and over wieght and they should be proude of them selves. You see them on ET or Access Hollywood beeing depicted as champions of some kind of cause.

Then you got your Christina and Brittny who set trends for skimpy clothing and most girls want to be part of a trend. So we are left with girls who area size 9 trying to fit inot a size 2.

I saw a report on girls who where a little over weight that where waring these hip huger jeans to small. They wound up cutting of the cirulation to there legs and pnching nerves casuing temporary lose of feeling in ther legs.

How bad is that. Wear clothes so tight that it casues medical problems.

Where your proper size and u will look better. IF u wnat to where small clothes then hit a gym.

The problem is all psychological...

A woman goes into a shop to buy a pair of jeans or something, and she does not want to be seen or admit that she has to buy a size 14 or something. size 10 is considered to be normal (though 12 is closer to the mark for your average woman), so she'll buy down a size.

This also works on the premise of "if I buy a size smaller then it'll hold everything in, plus I can diet and eventually I'll fit them".

Shame it doesn't work, really.

I thank you. :)

Women in general though, I think that's the way the mind works. To be anything over a size 12 is considered to be bad... I just have the opposite problem, everything's too big for me. :sure:

Awww.

I have no problems with fluffy women or for men either. But if they wear tight and skin showing clothe, thats when they passed the line as everyone else is saying. Kit is right, they probably have either a low self esteem or a very disfunctional high self esteem which I don't think it's possible as I'm typing this. Somebody stop Opera and Dr. Phil. Dr. Phil is cool, he's funny, but Opera is just a bit too overboard with the "O honey, you're not fat, 388 pounds is normal sweety, so go out there and be proud of it."

=)

You see quite a bit of the here in the summer time... I pretty much agree with the others, wear a size that fits. What really gets me is the women that wear that kind of stuff to work. Even if it fits properly. We have a pretty loose dres code here, in fact Tech people are allowed to wear blue jeans. The last thing I want is for people to wear that kind of crap so HR decides that a strict dress code needs to be enforced. :(

Cheers!

To Kit:

She's got legs, she knows how to use them.
She never begs, she knows how to coose them.
She's holdin' leg wonderin' how to feel them.
Would you get behind them if you could only find them?
She's my baby, she's my baby,
yeah, it's alright.

She's got hair down to her fanny.
She's kinda jet set, try undo her panties.
Everytime she's dancin' she knows what to do.
Everybody wants to see if she can use it.
She's so fine, she's all mine,
girl, you got it right.

She's got legs, she knows how to use them.
She never begs, she knows how to choose them.
She's got a dime all of the time,
stays out at night movin' through time.
Oh, I want her, said, I got to have her,
the girl is alright, she's alright.

Kitiara, my mother lives in London, well right now she is staying with me but she is moving back over to the UK this fall but not inside of London... Well, I hope anyways... She used to live in Hyde Park, do you know where that is?

Kitiara
July 17th, 2003, 05:23 PM
Hyde Park? Sure I know where that is. :) I used to work a couple of stops away on the Tube, and spent many a lunch time there. It's a great place. :)

Like, what are you options? Is broadband available and if so how expensive?

Kitiara
July 17th, 2003, 05:29 PM
Oh right... :)

Yeah, we have broadband over here in the sticks. :) I'm on it now, in fact. The cost depends on the connection. A 2Mb pipe is about £50 a month, whereas my 1MB is £35 a month. :)

DigitalPimp
July 17th, 2003, 05:30 PM
ohh that isn't bad. I thought it would had been more expensive than that.

BTW, what is the sticks?! I'm not from England nor have I ever been there so I don't know all the lingo.

Kitiara
July 17th, 2003, 05:32 PM
Mine's a little cheaper than usual because I get my phone and TV services through the same company (Telewest). :)

It means "out in the middle of nowhere" and is just me being very English again. :) I have a tendency to say things and every non-English person in the forums goes "What? Eh?" :P

DigitalPimp
July 17th, 2003, 05:33 PM

Rapage?

DigitalPimp
July 17th, 2003, 05:45 PM
Like, you get bent over and well bite pillows because the phone service costs so much there. That is what I heard anyways.

Kitiara
July 17th, 2003, 05:47 PM
Ah... It can be a little extortionate, especially if (like me) you don't use the phone much. They'll charge $15 a month just for the line, plus calls. And last month I made a grand total of no calls. But people phone me a lot, so I need it. :sigh:
