ok, so here's the thing. i've been on cloud 9 today. my best friend just got signed by Def Jam records, and is gonna be so famous it hurts. so i'm happy as hell for him.
also, i had this meeting today, and i just joined forces with this musician from cali. i'm gonna be doing an animation for a CD coming out, and he's gonna be making custom music for a series i'm workin on and anything else i need. (and this is like grade A, top of the line music here). plus a cute guy took me out for a nice dinner on the lake. :beam: so as you can imagine, it's been a wonderful day, and i was so flying high. PLUS, i'm going out on the boat tomorrow for an all day fishing trip.
well, i come home, and call my favorite person in the world (who is also the love of my life) to tell him all the good news and finalize plans for tomorrow. well. apparently he's in a funk or something cuz he doesn't seem very excited. so finally i ask if something's wrong. and he's like no... well... no. so i'm like, i KNOW something's wrong, what is it. and he's like, it's nothing i can talk about. so i'm like, ok. and then i'm like, well is it something i did? and he's like no. so i'm like, well, im worried about you. and hes like um, i forget what he said. anyway. i'm like, well are you ok? cuz i was just in a super good mood and now i'm not, cuz im worried. and he's like, no its nothing i can talk about. and got curt with me. so then i was like ok, and he's like call me in the morning, so im like ok bye.

and then i hung up.

and then like a minute later i called him back. and i was like, look, i don't mean to pry, but you are my favorite person in the world, and you know that if you aren't happy, i'm not. so is there anyway you can just tell me sort of what's up? and he's like no. and so i apologized, and said i didn't mean to be nosy, and i was just sad now and worried. so he was like, call me tomorrow, and so i said ok, bye. and he din't say bye and just hung up. so then i'm like, ok, sad cuz he's sad, and worried cuz i don't know whats going on, and pissed cuz he would not tell me anything full well knowing that i'm worried and won't sleep good, and pissed at myself for callign him back cuz i think it was stupid. and now. ugh. im pissed. and sad.

so here. here's where i need advise. cuz im so bad with this stuff sometimes. should i just not mention it ever again? or shoudl i ask him tomorrow whats up? i mean, obviously he doesn't wanna talk about it. so instinct and common sense tells me not to push it and let him just be a guy or whatever. but then a part of me thinks i should mention it, cuz otherwise i'm just gonna have to stuff it and wonder. and oh man, you men are so confusing sometimes. cuz then, another part of me thinks he might want to tell me, but it's hard, so i dunno what to do.

HOW STUPID am i being? oh god, i wish i was a guy. this girl stuff is bullcrap. why was i cursed with this brain? i think i should just let it go or something.

ya know, everything was going perfect. now it's all unperfect. i hate imperfection.

Saturday night I thought he was acting weird. We had made plans to meet at a bar to have a drink. I was shopping with my friends all day long, so I thought he was upset at the fact that I was a bit late, but he made no comment.

Finally I decided to go to bed, about 10 minutes later he came to bed and to my surprise he responded to my caress and we made love, but I still felt that he was distracted and his thoughts where somewhere else. I decided that I could not take it anymore so I decided to confront him with the situation but he had fallen asleep. I started crying and cried until I too fell asleep.

I don't know what to do. I'm almost sure that his thoughts are with someone else. My life is a disaster.

anywhoo, i was coming back from a roadtrip with some people, so needless to say we were full of coke and beef jerkey; not the most delightful things on your digestive track. well, my girlfriend had to go potty, so we stopped at this gas station. but you know, when girls go potty in public we never sit. well, she's in there for like 1/2 hour, so i'm getting worried so i knock on the door to see whats taking so long. so i hear her crying. so im like whats wrong, so shes just crying, so she tells me not to come in just as i kicked the door in. hehe... (lousy lock i guess :sigh:)
so i go in, and lo and behold, she is pantless and there is poop all over. hehehehehehe
apparently she tried to poo while doing the typical "squat and hover" girl trick. hahahahha. and her *** like exploded.
man, i tried SO hard not to laugh. but i had to. which made her cry more. which made some more poo come out.

let me tell you, you know a true friend is one who will help you through your darkest hour, (or sh1ttiest hour..heheh) and even though they laugh, they will still lend a pair of jeans and let you in their jeep. hehehehhehehehehehehehehe.

no, it wasn't a romantic date, it was just friendly-like. it was in celebration of a new partnership (strictly buisness... but a girl can have her moment all the same hehe) so if he does have a problem with it then that's just silly, cuz he sounded sobby before i even told him that i went out.

very good point. only thing is, we're sposed to go fishing all day on the boat tomorrow. i would just cancel, but he's been really looking forward to it, so if anything, i think it will help him clear his thoughts and such and feel better. it's cool though, when we fish, it's not like i'm his g/f, it's like, i'm just a guy friend drinkin a brew and enjoying the scenery. i think things should be fine. :beam: (although if he still is in a funk, i will heed your advise and reschedual and give him space)

ok, since you wanted an update, here goes..

i called him up, went over early to pick him up for da fishin trip. then we were packin up the jeep and he seemed rather jovial (specially since neither of us are morning people). so i just asked him if he was feelin better and he said yeah, pretty much. and then we spent the day on the boat fishin, and i caught a HUGE fish too, and we had lotsa fun, and drank lotsa brews and got lotsa sun, and got really fishy smelling, and had a lot of laughs. so it was a great day.
and then later at ngiht when i was leavign his house, i jsut asked him if he had a good day and he said that it was great. so.. whatever it was, i guess he's over it. or at least significantly enough that i shouldn't worry.
see? simple. so damm simple. i swear. soemtimes a woman can be sucha fool for you guys.
just remember... patenice is virtue, and if you deal with our freakishness, we give massages and other 'treats' .. heheheh. (had to throw in a bonus for chicks).
