Hi

I have a template file which adds, header etc and a menu to a page.

I changed a spelling mistake in the template, but the page still has the spelling mistake.

The code on the page seems uneditable as well, compared to other pages.

Have you updated all the files related to that source file? There should be a popup box that prompts you to apply the changes to all the files that originate from that source file...

Are you editing the template file or one of the pages. Make sure your editing the dwt.
