Nice one... I think it's good to remember that we all started out knowing nothing, so there will be plenty of people coming to the site who need more basic level tutes. :)

Actually, speaking of which, do we have on on drag and drop? That crops up every now and again, and I've got example programs that would cover it well... :)

Kit, I believe there is a drag and drop tutorial but it also regards changing certain colours by using different frames and frame labels within a movie clip (i.e. you don't actually change the colour when you drag and drop object X on object Y - it just goes to a frame with a certain name within object Y's movieclip which has different colours).

And congrats. on your first Kirupa tutorial Alex, I look forward to picking up some of your advanced ones when you start making those :D (then again, I will probably need the basic ones too :sure: ).

Thx Alex. Some of us (me) are still beginners in flash and can use the easier tutorials. As long as it doesn't include the word "dynamic" I'll be sure to use it.

A bit easy, but everybody's got to start somewhere. I couldn't find anywhere that someone could possibly get lost at. Nice tut.

Do contact any of the mods or me before starting to write a tutorial though; we don't like to turn down tutorials because the topic was already covered on the site =)
