Selectable Text

Just wondering if there is any way to have non-selectable text in Dreamweaver? I'm trying to create a drop down menu using two layers 1-housing the rollovers 2-Holding the links. Whenever a cursor is placed over top of text the rollover doesn't work. Can anyone help?

the only way i can think of to do something like that is to have the text part of a pic, then all they can highlight is the pic, not certian parts of the text.
