yet another logo check

Hey ya'll need some logo opinions. New client they were using same lame clipart of a door as their logo. So they hired us to improve their logo among other things. They wanted to keep the idea of a door in some capacity. We wanted to keep it simple and versatile to be used against any color. Let me know your opinions

not totally sure what all this company does, but I know we are developing for them a website that is like a online community magazine.....geared towards a crowd between 20-40 years of age.

can you move "Bin" under the "resource" and have it goign across the door as well? Seems to long.

we got creative latitude but the idea of a door must be included in what ever we create.

good point we have to keep the word resource-bin in the logo also and it has to be on one line. Now that I think about it I guess we do not have much creative latitude :(

no gender specifications. BUt I think for some reason more women will go here. But that is just looking at the nature f their content

can this "logo" be some type of intro (hardcore flash animation) or is it supposed to be a siple static logo stuck up in the corner of a site???

yeah the door or the idea of a door has to be there. which is why we reversed it a lil bit. The door they had was lame.

rad...i can understand...nobody is telling me how i can do my thing....but in order to create a good logo...you hafta know about the company you are creating the logo for...for example

you would not make a logo for a car company that had a bike on it...thats just stoopid..
you would not make a logo for a vertranarian that had car graphics on it...

it makes sense to know about the company before you create their logo...also...someone could give you a great idea...i mean an idea that is just so rad...you just hafta use it...but when you think about it...it might not anything to do with the company...so me asking all of those questions was to try to find out a bit more about that company so i could give you an idea that you might be capable of using...

ok...you can have a door with a really bright ligt inside..and the light is shining out or the door and there is a huge cast shadow over the text...add some color and spice it up a bit

this looks a bit like a church group site or something...i think the logo looks really good, but it seems like i have seen it before....it might just be the style, but its a turn off because it doesnt stand out, i might confuse it at a glance with another logo of the same style.

good dippy it is a Christian Community Site. That right there may be the reason we keep it. :) Hopefully this logo is not out there somewhere.

i agree..the logo does look really rad...well...more rad than it did before...!!!
