I'm not a big fan of design contests either.

As it's wastes many designers time and sometimes a winner is not found.
This results in a bad deal for all involved.

However, I recommend you set up your logo design competition on sitepoint.com/forums/ marketplace there you can select a winner and the forum is better placed to handle design competitions of this kind.
