Hey There,
So we have been working lately on a new design for our website and are readying a beta release. We have a few bells and whistles to add but thought we would put it out there to get some feedback/critique. We've put a lot of work into this so please, constructive criticism only!
Thanks for checking it out!

Although it's a little cartoony for my taste, I think it's a cool site.
Nice transitions, easy to navigate, nice animations.
The only problem that really bothers me, is the "clients" section. You have a lot of names listed, but none of them link to a site, where you can actually see your work.
And in fact you added an annoying effect to the first top clients, to make them even more 'unclickable'. (The mouseOver thing)
To me that doesn't really give a good impression. Are you trying to hide your work?
I think it's important to give a possible customer a chance to see what other work you've done - and it should be easy for them to do.
Also, people might think your only style is the cartoons and then dismiss you because they might want something else. So having a somewhat extensive portfolio, that's easily accessible will definately land you more jobs.
Also you have a lot of names listed in the clients section - if the first ten boxes where links to great sites - it would make the last 20 names much more believable.

Thanks for the feedback Stig!
I think the reasoning behind not linking to individual sites in our clients section(initially they all linked but it was removed in a later rev) was that being a "creative boutique"(i.e. that we do not only web work but also video and production services) many of our clients are also our competitors.
In our separate portfolio section(Located in "How We Did It") we tried so showcase some of our work with direct links but perhaps it should be reworked or at least made more intuitive. Thanks again, this is just the type of feedback we were looking for! :thumb2:

Cute concept!
The animation strobes a lot though, so it doesn't seem to carry any fluidity.
I like the idea of the planets, but why don't you label them with something fun like signposts sticking out of them?

Thanks for the feedback. I hadn't noticed the strobe effect on the systems I have been testing it on. I had noticed that the background movement caused some lag on older machine so we added an option to disable it. Do you have any suggestions to make the animations more fluid?
I like the signpost idea, makes me think of Marvin the Martian/Buggs Bunny cartoons. :thumb:
Thanks again!

Well I don't think its a performance issue- just more of an animation issue. I'd say up the frame rate (and if it's mostly hand animated, it's going to require more frames put in). The strobing occurs when there is slightly too much space between frames :)

Yeah, I'm realizing he animations are inheriting the frame rate for the main movie. I had thought I set them all the same! Stupid goof, thanks for catching it!

I'm pretty sure that a little red rocket is commonly used to describe a male dog's reproductive organ....

Great work dude...
Very original, and aesthetic too. The transitions (on my side) are very smooth, and there is no aliasing of the vectors, which is good, because i hate jagged edges :P
May i ask what is the font you use in your content sections ?

Very enjoyable site :)
I really liked the planet to planet transitions and the ever-moving nature of it.
My only critique would be the lack of mousewheel scrolling on the "Scroll to See..." section. It's my first instinct to scroll :)

In what we do, there are some buttons. And if you hover on any of the buttons, there's 1 position right below the buttons where it'll make them bounce forever. Might want to fix that. Too much animation distracts also.
Otherwise, it's great! :)
