In this site, if you go to 'News', you see the thing with lots of horizontal bars right? I was just wondering how this was done :-\

Does anyone know of any tutorials for this or got the AS for this?
I know how to make the boxes grow on hitTest, but i'm not sure how you would make the other buttons adjust their positions accordingly.

I've tried several times, except mine is on the X axis instead of the Y. Any help would be appreciated thanks!!!! :trout:

That's a very nice site, I like it a lot, clean, simple, funny menu...
The news system..I might be a able to find a fla where i did something similar (it's in fact the menu in www.phpforflash.com in the tutorial section)
It doesn't auto-open on rollover, but that's easy to change, and also there was no easing in it, but that can be added..

ok i'm getting desperate now! i've posted this in 3 forums, but havn't really gotten an answer yet!! I've tried to change the code i tried to make in every different way possible, yet still no success....any ideas anyone???!

Try playing around with this menu... someone threw it on the forum. Its close to what you want. The basic idea is the collapssible menu.

yea so more similar to the site i showed you. Well the concept is the same (i think), just instead the blue stuff enlarges, causing other blue stuff to adjust.

Mine is on the horizontal scale as well if you want to fix that too ;) But i can probably do that part....

I made exactly as you showed me.
The orange part is the info showed up when u rollover the title. Just make an array to store the data to be displayed and remove the button in the orange part.
