Everyone has heard about those amazing concerts or moments in music that must have been amazing to be at. Memorable, life changing perhaps. The music moments I would have killed to be at would be

The Sun Records tours of the deep south of the USA in the 50's - you would have heard Elvis, Johnny Cash, Roy Orbison, Jerry Lee Lewis and many others.

Queen live at Wembley - though my dad seen them in the 70's in Glasgow and he said it was something else. The greatest rock band of all time for me.

Kiss live - Anytime, anyplace, that must have been one hell of a show. Not now though, when they were at their peak.

Elvis's comeback Vegas show - the ultimate performer

How about you?

Shows I wish I'd seen:
Nirvana, before Kurt Cobain killed himself
Joy Division, ditto for Ian Curtis
Skinny Puppy, back when they were huge and Ogre wan't burnt out
Johnny Cash, before he died
Haight-Ashbury, 1969
Mayhem, before the original members murdered each other

Ones that I actually saw:
Pantera's last show at the Hampton Coliseum
Haujobb live in Baltimore
Metallica show (black album tour) that I snuck my friends into.

Yeah I would love to have seen The Beatles. Also I'd love to see Queen. Rush twenty years ago just for the hell of it.

I love the beatles but I'm not sure about seeing them live. I mean they did stop touring in 1964 and were pretty much a studio band after that (nothing wrong with that, just that seeing them live wouldn't have been up to much...just my thinking on it)

Defintely would love to have seen Johnny Cash live. While he was working on his last albums (the covers called American Hero) he played live sets in small bars in LA during the late 90's. That would have been amazing.

Would love to have seen him at San Quentin as well but only if I could have been a guard as opposed to an inmate.
