Why Test Buttons Missing

I went to go test my directdraw and direct3d and the test buttons are missing what causes this problem.

They've always been missing for me in Vista also. I don't know why haha. I do miss seeing the old DirectX cube rotate and, for the 2D tests, see the rectangle that bounced around the walls really quickly.

Interesting ... mine aren't missing and I've just recently downloaded DX 10 - on my machine running Vista Ultimate ...

I'll try and look into it - but don't know if I can come up with a solution considering I'm not having the same problem...
