Well, I think this thread belongs in site check...

also it needs a bit of work. The banner repeats itself on higher resolutions so I start to see the banner over again at the right of my screen....

Yea, I don't like that style, too many PHPBB2 users have it on their boards. I prefer simple, but that is just me.

hmm like a few said, It's a great start.

I for really like that style of board (I dont use many message boards so I havent seen that style before) and think it looks great.

The banner is a little on the "low rez" side of things - but again, it's a great start.

Update to 2.0.5 as soon as possible, I switched to vB because of 2.0.4 actually because restoring your database is almost impossible and theres a lot of bugs such as the common and annoying "invalid_session" problem which was a big thing on 2.0.4.

The design is nice, but a bit too dark. The banner needs to be shunken a little.

yea, i was planning on changing over, but i got the update and i didnt understand how to install it. i was gonna get vb but its like $80 a year, and i dont like that.

im thinkinga bout switching to invision boards.

I highly recommend phpBB and vBulletin over InvisionBoard. I've used them and they're a hassel sometimes. I'm sure if you ask the phpBB community for help on upgrading, they'll help you. Also, I know how to upgrade too, so if you do happen to want to try it out, I'll be glad to help.

thanks man, yea i was just browsing through some invision skins and i didnt like them, so ill just end up chaningg my phpbb style.
yea ive tried the upgrade a couple of times, and i can never get it. my host said i needed to kno ssl or ssh but i dont know what that is. also, what does the upgrade upgrade?
