A tutorial I just created showing how to send different variables from Flex to PHP using
one function. Included are the example files which add, delete and update records in a
database using PHP with Flex frontend. Have fun

No worries, If you are interested in downloading these files I suggest you to it now!
I just got an email from my hosting provider saying they are closing my account due
to the bandwidth usage. So when the clock hits 12 on the 10th of Dec, I'll no longer have
a site, untill I start my new job that is. (-:

Great work mate, love the flex blog too. With some of your clients, why did you decide to use Joomla? (I currently use Drupal+AMFPHP etc) ?

denizengt - Well my client wanted to manage the website herself becuase
she was paying her previous designers a rediculous amount of money to update the site
for her. I had made a couple of sites using Mambo http://www.warrnamboolmotorcycleclub.com
and I knew that Joomla was a spinoff of Mambo and that I wouldn't have to learn anything
new as far as setting up the site and designing the template. I think what made me change
from Mambo to Joomla was when I read that Mambo was changing its core, and that allot of
third-party components wouldn't work and also Joomla seems to have a larger community base.
Just got myself a new job in Brisbane AUS so the hosting issue shouldn't be a problem
anymore, thanks for those that emailed me offering to host the site for a while.

Ahh so it was more a thing of circumstances rather than a design/development choice.
Just asking because I'm not terribly familiar with mambo. The current site I'm building uses the niceties provided by the Drupal backend, but operates a flash frontend, so for instance, adding a page in the backend will therefore do the same in the flash front.
Nice work mate, keep it up. I'm looking for a new job in either Brissy or Melb in the new year myself, need more jingle :)
