isnt that just a font? and a free one at that? I dont see anything branding or memorable about it.

I think you should play with it a little more. It would look better if the middle lines of the 'a' and 'e' lined up, I think. Maybe even make the a just an upside-down e

it's true it's only a font type, but I'm going for a simple look like other corporate logo out there. e.g: wallmart, networksolutions, futureshop...etc

Any one of those corporations has had a lot of time put into making their logotype just right. Spend some time tweaking the letter shapes, lining things up, changing the shape a little, until it's all yours. You're going to be living with this logo for a while (most likely), put in the work now.

strats right. Manipulate it until its yours. Right now that can easily be anyone who goes to dafont.com and gets that font. Wordmarks are very very very well thought out. Even something as simple as targets font choice went through a tedious process no doubt. Then they brand that color as well. Put a little more effort into and at least find a paid font that is a bit more rare. But you are better off adjusting it your self.

Is it really a logo or more of a type treatment?
Have you had any other ideas to show? Possibly something with an icon or symbol to represent rather than an ae??
Try coming up with simple concepts first, whether it be on paper or with PS or AI ... either way ... I think you need to try just a little more.

I agree with the others. A little more effort and maybe some graphic element. While it does look cool, it's just not original.
