So, this september I started my interactive media production degree! Scary ****.

So far im really really enjoying the course, its pretty much perfect for me.

The first unit is based around images, and our brief was to create 5 images with the theme of "nature and technology".

Ive never really used photoshop beyond cropping, resizing and basic image editing, and id never used Illustrator before, so i was really keen to get my teeth into the project.

Ive finished a couple of the images, id love to hear some feedback/comments/what I could do to improve!

Those are neat, I like 'em. You should be sure to save them out at a higher quality; you're getting a lot of compression that takes away from the work.

Yeah youre right actually, Although I think that loss of quality might just be due to deviantart resizing the picture. If you click on download at the side youll see it at full quality/resolution.

You're right, it's much better in the 'download' version. :)

Thought I should just post this here instead of making a new thread.

We also had to make a site to display the images in. Ive never used css before but it seems really useful, I quite enjoy web design!

I like the Images, looks good, I think it's a good way of expressing the idea you are going for with the technology and art.

Its cool to think a stratocaster is equal in technological power to a furturistic cannon or a nuclear power plant.

The site, I'm sure you are still working on it, but I could do with out the extra window, especially since it popped up with the same page, I thought some thing was broken so I clicked it a cuple times and got a grip of windows...

The logo on the site looks alright, kind of hard to read even if you know what it says, I don't like that "n" particularly, but if that's your artistic style go right ahead.

Yeah, fixed that now cheers for spotting it! I agree the "n" does look a little out of place... Ill see if I can fix that!

Any other things you think could be improved/changed?
