Found this on Digg - Kaguya, the space probe that Japan just launched to orbit the moon, carried an HD cam on board. It's getting some incredible footage.

Looks like google map! the craters seem fake! ... but who knows, maybe it is the affect of space on the camera!?

Perhaps you're having a hard time suspending disbelief because it's so AWESOME!!! But the space race is back on. China just launched the Chang'e 1 last week. So, looks like Selene aka Kaguya has some company.

What are you guys gonna do when it gets pictures of this?
