So I finally got sick and tired of Firefox's instability on Mac OSX and installed Camino. One thing that's bugging me is the "find-as-you-type" feature. How do you get it to search for search terms with spaces? As soon as I type a space it stops searching! I tried googling.. but to no avail.

Edit: Also, when you're using System Preferences to set custom keyboard shortcuts, how the hell do you use "tab" in one of your shortcuts? I want to use ctrl+tab as a shortcut, but it won't let me!

aren't there any addons which would fix it?

I couldn't find any. I installed a couple of add-ons that but basically all they did were make stuff in "about:config" accessible from the Preferences menu.

Apparently it was just a quirk becuase it works now?

But I still can't figure out how to make ctrl+tab a keyboard shortcut.. for now I'm just using ctrl+` and ctrl+shift+` instead of ctrl+tab and ctrl+shift+tab

CTRL+<TAB> is the built in tabbing inbetween tabs you may not be able to change it.

On which browser? Because Camino's default was ctrl+option+arrow or something. I was able to change it to ctrl+` but not tab.

Oh ur right... my mistake last time i used it was a long time ago, must of just got confused with FF's/IE's button combos (which after testing are CTRL+Tab and also IE's).
