CellBill Mock-Up

This is a quick mock-up I did for a friend over the night. Thoughts?

Clean design and good color scheme. I would suggest increasing the size of the tagline beneath the CellBill logo. I'm sure the navigation won't remain the same after launch....but try to limit the amount of items on it. Perhaps using a tiered navigation might help.

Maybe you could use the index page to host information about the "enter contest" link. Maybe put FAQ under the Help link. Also try to keep things like the Privacy policy on the footer.

Thats another thing. Flesh out the footer a bit more. Provide links back to the home page, contact page, login, and back to top.

Also, where it says "What cellbill can do for you..." try making that image with smoothing on the text. I realize you may be trying to save on load time but an optimized gif wouldn't hurt.

the top texture looks awkward with the header suddenly cutting through it. maybe a subtle transition or a drop shadow?
content area looks awesome btw. though light, the contrast seems good:D

I agree, the nav needs to look as if its floating over the header like the rest of it. Using a drop shadow. Either that or make the nav bar look like its bulging up off the screen. It dosn't look right as is.

For some reason, it feels like one of those sites you land on that domain sharks buy up.

It doesn't look bad at all, but it feels rigid because there is a lack of flow between the content.

Try filling up the body to see what it's going to look like in the end :)
