the logotype does not seem to work, the harsh cut on the bottom of the strokes does not fit in with the rounded edges of the rest of the font.

try a font with sharp edges and it may work... or it could just be the 45 degree cut, try other angles to complement the font because it seems off.

also, were you going for a dragon ball z look with the icon?

I think the logotype works pretty well, actually. I like the look of it overall - of course, how it works with the rest of the site will be important, too. Nice work :beer:
