Looks like MUD to me.

This is how I would tweak it. Do you see 7 black lines and 7 white lines?

I'd give it a '6'. All I can think of looking at it is "There is no spoon." Except its a fork and its a lot more bendy then in the movie.

what if you bend the corners of the D (which looks like an O) -- defines it a little better.

darkmotion - although I'm not a fan of pixel logos either...I think they look fine scaled as long as its obvious the effect you're after.
