Quiz game in Flash (using buzzers)

Hello, how would i go about getting Flash to recieve inputs from a buzzer system?

About the buzzer system itself..

Would i be able to use buzzers from the Ps2 "buzz" games? I mentioned these because they have a USB cable so i could plug them into a pc.

How about a diy MIDI controller style home-made buzzer system?

Any thoughts/ideas welcome

I haven't seen anything using a PS2 controller but I have seen people using the wii remote in flash. There's an API which will let you access the controller via bluetooth from a laptop.
