What OS are you running? In either case, this seems related to the issue here if on Vista: http://www.kirupa.com/forum/showthread.php?t=276995

Under your Display Settings in XP, you can choose to enable text smoothing. Another easy way would be to run the ClearType tuner found here: http://www.microsoft.com/typography/cleartype/tuner/Step1.aspx

Cheers!

Anti-aliasing is enabled by default in WPF - which is what Blend creates for. If you are not seeing the effects of anti-aliasing, have you tried the ClearType tuner link I posted in the earlier article?

Thanks,
Kirupa ;)
