Hello. Man I haven't posted in a while.

I made a hiragana trainer for myself since I'm sucking at Japanese right now. Maybe some of you will find this useful as well. The trainer and the source are here:

In case you don't know what hiragana is, it's the basic syllabic writing system for Japanese - the first thing Japanese language students learn. I hope some of you find this useful.

Cool, I like it. It looks like something I might use to brush up on my hiragana. You need some kinda sign, message or sound when you enter a wrong answer though. I couldn't tell if it just wasn't working or if I got it wrong (I got it wrong).

I could really use one of these for katakana too, I keep forgetting it.

Good work!

Yeah, I know, I'll add some right/wrong feedback tonight. I'm going to make one for katakana too, but the problem is that I haven't been able to figure out how to type in japanese on my computer (outside of microsoft office). I made the xml for this one copying and pasting from wikipedia.

Cool thing. I used to made one when I was learning hiragana and katakana, but yours looks far more better :D

One thing though, I think the "do" and "de" should be swapped.

I don't know where it's getting ち with a "tick-tick" to mean "gi"! The correct Kana is じ!

both chi and shi go to ji when you add dakuten marks. At least that's what I've learned.
