Hi, a few questions, any help appreciated!

I am doing an educational CD-ROM teaching egyptian hieroglyphs for my Final year University Project.

I have two ways of going about it:

Use Flash CS3 - A mix of Actionscript 2 or 3 means I can code stuff in AS3 (like games, many which will be included) and use the new CS3 components and bundle it with Flash Player 9.

Use Director MX 2004 - I know nothing about this yet but have read it is good for CDROMs and I am willing to learn it. I have also read you can incorporate Flash 8 SWFs into the final CD-ROM. But no AS3/Flash 9 SWFs.

Which option would you go for?

Sounds like you already know something about AS2/3 but you know nothing about Director. Seems like a no-brainer to go the route you are already comfortable with, especially if its an important project.

Once you're important project is done if you wanted to play around with Director that would probably be a better time.
