Hi Im making a new site in flash to replace my old one, as I never really managed to get round some of the CPU usage issues so im starting from scratch.

But while im getting the flash site finished i thought i better get a small html site up as I have always believed users should have an option.

Its at http://www.publishings.co.uk not much design there and wont set anyones socks alight but just would like some feedback or comments negative or positive.

Kinda of plain and the sectioning of for each title needs more than a font size change.
Lighten the text colour just a hair.
Link rollovers need different colours (lighter and then go to the current colour).

Background, needs one maybe a nice pattern.

Its a very basic HTML site... not much to crit.

It's very simple and the font looks okay... Just need a little spice and that's it!:)

nice use of typography dude. but i think there's just too much white space in the home section. really. it looks empty, but i like the style;)

thanks, i think I mite try to play around with this site, add a few more pages and get it looking better, I've changed the background to white, it looks a tiny bit better, I think I'm going to fully php/mysql it though, and instead of having a full separate flash site I'm just gonna add bits of flash here and there.

Ill probably make it XHTML instead of just HTML, just trying to smarten up my standards, Ill post back once I've added a bit more, thanks for all the comments!

two minor things:

A comma should be added in this sentence "...Flash player installed, click here." on your front page.

it would look better if you can Align the input fields of the Contact form.
