Hi all!

Just thought I'd post a short introduction first post!

I've been looking for a Flash Board/Forum that I felt I could hang around, and I came across this site from a post that someone made in another Flash forum! And after a brief browse around, I decided to register here, my favourite Flash community I've come across so far!

I'm a Graphic Design student, just finished my first year.

I've just begun getting into Flash seriously after dabbling in it over the last couple of years at uni.

As well as academic reasons for learning Flash, I hope to create an animated cartoon site with interactive elements, and hopefully (if I can get my head around actionscripting) some simple games, for hobby and entertainment purposes.

Sorry asphaltcowboy, I don't play Quake 3, mainly cos I'm usless at it! Never have had the patience to stick with one game. Besides recently I've been spending my spare time drawing and learning flash!

Well, you seem to be in charge of the Flash MX forum as well (and drawing and design) so I accept that you must be at most a normal dork.
