you should get a vector of the record for the music player. when i clicked on it, it got super distorted.

All in all nice job. I thought the image gallery was real confusing - took me a while to figure out how to go to the next image.
Imagery is nice although some of his "street photos" are ridiculous.
Well done.

Thanks all for the comments.
About the text, it's not my choice, my friend wanted something no too classical.
I'm going to rework on the pictures too and the vinyl, you're righ.
See ya

i concure. the body and content text is much to heavy and overwhelms the user's eye. maybe something a little thinner would help. also, using ALL italics throws focus out the door. you should use italics to call attention to individual items, not entire bodies of text.
but i think i like the splash page the best. the site is okay, but if you would have carried the dark, subtle feel of the splash throughout the design i think this would have been way better.

I dig the site. One of the better ones I've seen on here lately. Right before I did my first navigation, I was wondering if the music was gonna change when I clicked and it didn't, which I definitely liked. I've seen alot of flash sites that play music and then when you move from the main page it stops. I'm like, why did you even put music on there then. Regardless, I dig the sites overall feel, but the street life pictures aren't what I was expecting. I'm figuring I'm seeing him in his 'hood' not downtown. They're nice pics, but not what I was expecting. And the photo gallery took me a second to figure out too. I'd put an arrow up there somewhere. A visual cue is always good. or Roll out a piece of paper that tells em how to navigate. Transitions are generic, but it's not a big deal. I figure people are really going there for the music (which I dug too even though i don't speak french). I personally am a fan of graffiti and I'd like to see it more integrated into the look of the site (rather than it being an image or something. Not really a big deal, more of a personal preference, so you really could just discredit that last comment.
sidenote: The picture with the old lady cracked me up. (street life:No.11)
