flagging undesirable content

Im building a site at the moment that involves user uploaded content. I was wondering if anyone had any tips for flagging 'undesirable' content :cantlook: . e.g. do you send yourself an email, or just deactivate the content after a number of people have flagged it as undesirable?

personally, i'd just put it into a "review" section if it's been flagged x amount of times. limit flagging to one per username & ip. each time you login to your admin panel you can make some sort of overview that says, you have x amount of items awaiting review. somethin like that. i'd definately not have it send me an email though, that just opens it up for crap loads of annoying review spams :lol:
