Why code it in DivX when you can use XviD? Its open source and helluva better quality, no extra space used.

Naw, that's a common notion everyone has over Divx and Xvid. People say that Divx can't touch the quality of Xvid when they encode. When I turn around and ask if they encoded the video using x number of passes, they are clueless. People think Divx isn't a good codec only because they can't properly encode it. Xvid, on the other hand, is equal in quality, but the reason people prefer it over Divx is because of the tools that are out there to encode in Xvid. They are far superior is ease of use than most of the tools laid out for Divx.

Should you want advice on how to properly utilize the Divx codec, let me know, i'll list a couple programs you can use.

Oh, right... well, honestly I didn't know (and don't really care). I just wrote something "video-compression-ish" that jumped into my head. =)
