New PC

I just added new parts to my pc. It was not hard and not easy, but I did it, I did have problems with the motherbord but all are ready.

Pentium 4 2.8
512 mb ram
80 gb harddisk

Its fast and sexy, I testet it on Eg`s site becouse it says pentium 4+ so It works SO FAST !!! omg...

I just have some problems with formating the station D. I get a error, but I will fix that soon with the partion magic 7.

I have windows 2000 on it, so bye to XP.

now I can creat super cool websites, and use photoshop 7 faster :)

mine's a Dell Dimension XPS T500 that we've upgraded quite a few times. we've had to change hard drives like 3 times, the one currently installed is a 120 GB, so my computer runs like a dream with photoshop open.:)

[edit]oh yeah, and dont install windows ME whatever you do. i did like 2 years ago and cant install XP without loosing all my files:(]

I think win me is not that good. and win xp is for family use not for mhm... and win 2000 is DAM !! :thumb:

windows me was the worst operating system ever made...microsoft couldn't give that crap away.

i've used windows xp and 2000 (currently with xp) and i have to say that i like windows xp a lot better. it's much more user friendly, plus you can get rid of the stupid "kids look" it has if you use style xp or something. don't get me wrong, they're basically the same operating system...one thing that ticked me off in windows 2000 is that it doesn't have a "msconfig" program. anytime you want to take something out of start-up you have to edit the registry.

i just can't wait for the new windows "longhorn" to come out...i think i'll have to wait until 2005 or something, but it's supposed to have a whole new file system (bye bye NTFS).
