Ajax/Javascript Paging Controls

Does anyone know any good tutorials out there on paging database results with an Ajax control and Javscript? Something along the lines of <<<< 1 2 3 4 5 >>>> With <<<< and >>>> acting as last page and first page of results?

Thanks in advance. I have been searching all over but only finding bad posts. Anything helps. Cheers.

All I am finding is stuff with a scroll bar, not anything with technique of <<< 1 2 3 4 5 >>> paging. Let me know if I am way of on language.
