Hey there!

Im project leader for a web based RPG game, its not a new project it has been going for a couple of years on and off, its a non commercial project so it is hard finding talented people who WANT to work on a project for the sake of it opposed to the financial gain.

As i said in the title the project is a web based RPG, i will say it shares similarities with MMO based games although we dont really want to put it into the web based MMO genre as most of the things that say to be this are rather dull.

We have got some quite high hopes for the game and have some great ideas as a team of what we want to achieve from the project, however our main artist is unable to work as much on the project as he previously could so the projects coming to a halt until we can recruit some more team members. We are *currently* on the lookout for graphic artists who are quite comfortable with background art/concept art as well as any other things that may arise, such as flash animation, icon creation etc. Web design is a definate bonus although for the moment artwork is our main concern as our current site design will keep us going for a while.
We are also on the lookout for an actionscript/amfphp developer, this is mainly for future things we wish to implement into the game and unfortunatly we are lacking team members with a background in actionscript based development.

Here is some current screenshots from the game that we released a month or so ago, so you can see the sort of theme we have going on, and to show that its not a NEW project its an existing one that we still want to do some work on before we release the initial version.

Ive had a couple of people PMing me about PHP development positions as well as ASP stuff (We dont use ASP though :(), however at the moment we are just after Art related positions.

I am fairly desperate for a decent artist to help out on this project, its a decent team with a good long term project which is great to expand a portfoilo. If it sounds good send me a message!

Yep, it should work on anything with a web browser, i aint tested the latest build on any obscure browsers but the previous one worked on:

- IE 6/7
- Firefox
- Safari
- Opera (including Wii Browser)
- PSP Browser

As its all web based it should work on any browser that supports flash, thats currently the only requirement for the game. Although there isnt THAT much flash content at the moment, although when i get a flash monkey on the team ive got ALOT of things i would like to add or move into flash...
