The best RPG is undoubtedly Earthbound (or Mother), has anyone played this game? It's really something, and it's like extremely hard to beat the game.

I dunno, Baldur's Gate II tops my list,
followed by Morrowind...

I didnt try it.. but for me its hard to beat BG
