Ideas for a Techy Logo???

Hi, i finally found a cool name for my design company, now i am on the next step, the logo, and i want to ask for your help, could you please give me some ideas on how to do a cool techy logo??

ps. i wont tell you the new name, i can only tell you that the initials are "E. S.", and the big mistery of the name, will be revealed soon, i want it to be a surprise for all of you !! :tb:

well, i dont have a logo, but whatever you do, make sure that you can read everything readable even when the logo is printed small. and try to keep it really simple. a logo with 20 different pics in it most times will look like crap. as for some ideas, maybe a metal or shiny looking circle, or something like that. if you run out of ideas, ask Strongbad. good luck.

heheheh..... yeah.

but seriously, do you have any direction for where to start with your logo or company or whatever? It's way easier to come up with designs when you have something to draw influence from, and get ideas rolling... a "techy" logo could be anything, but when you narrow it down, it's much easier to do

throw out some adjectives of how you would describe your company in one word. Also what do you do what services do you provide. For those adjectives look up their meaning and any root word symbols (like if it a Latin word meaning this.....) these are a few thought processes that go thru my mind when building a corporate identity. Throw some out and I will see what I can think of to help ya out

Uh oh, I think Soul ruinned Ebirth's surprise. :P The only thing I can add to what has already been said is that try to design your logo in a vector program like freehand, illustrator or even flash so that you can easily scale it up or down without any lost in quality. You can also see how it looks at different sizes as well.

I liek those 2 but I a just not feeling them as logos since they are very complex. But they are very cool designs. I guess I am partial to simple logos. BUt I still like #3 without the swoosh over the top
