Tutorials on Creating 2D Pixel Art in Flash 8...

Hello! I was just wondering if anybody could supply me with some tutorials on creating 2D pixel art in flash 8. I'm currently working on a tile based platformer game and need some help with the pixel art.

If nobody can supply me with any tools can you please tell me what tools are ideal for pixel art creation in Flash 8?

Well the best tools are the industry standard such as Photoshop or at a stretch Fireworks - any image manipulation package will do though - you can use Paint if you are desperate.

The good thing about Photoshop is that you have a lot of tools at your disposal to refine your pixel art, and you can use layers/filters to build up your image or add effects

All you need to do is export from one of these packages as a gif (not great but it supports transparency) or a png (better as you get a whole alpha channel to play with)
