Hi,
I've just putting the finishing touches to my latest design and wondered what you all thought. I think all I have left is the preloader, the non-flash page, the mulitmedia page, adding the album cover and a little debugging here and there and thats another one for the portfolio.
Ive had really nasty reviews in the past so please, if you dont like my style, just try to be constructive or dont say anything.

Thanks

wasn't bad - sorry for the short review, getting ready to step out from work ...
I'd make the "enter" process a little more intuitive and a little more straight forward, or just get rid of the part all together ... possibly put the arrow thing up for experiments in your portfolio or something. (because I got caught up clicking and making arrow "ghosts" and then didn't see the button on the 'i' to press to get into the site till later...)

you can click things behind the mask for the enter site thing.. Might want to fix that.

Needs a preloader.
Use another font instead of boring Impact.
The blurry text for the up states are a bit annoying because they reduce the readability of it more than enhance the navigation.
Try something like a colour change (tween a hue change or something like that)

not bad dude, not bad at all:D
works pretty well i think, elements don't clash that much, and seems to get the idea through:D
but it still needs a preloader:)
good job:thumb:

Thanks for the feedback.
Ive updated the mulitmedia page, its still not complete as i need to add the buffer and seeker. But once thats done I think i'll leave it there (as not being paid enough). Forgeting my random content fillers and the buffering problem, does the finger look good or stupid? I cant decide.
The preloader and change of font is to come later. I was waiting for the guy to give me the album cover and graphics to see if I could make it the same. The site as it is is under 300kb so it should load fast.
As for my own portfolio (http://www.kigwana.com), its been said to me many times. it was 2nd ever flash site and as such it is not easy to update. I am in the process of building a replacement number 1 portfolio (http://www.not2nerdy.com) and plan to turn original into a pure experimental/showoff/interactive/game.... if i ever get time that it.
Thanks again,
J
